East Carolina Network customers may choose from a variety of services and support options. Many of our services are available only to those companies maintaining sites on the East Carolina Network.

You will need your User ID and Password which were assigned to you when you joined the network if you see this [^] symbol. If you've forgotten them, just drop us a line and we'll e-mail them to you. A valid account and e-mail address are required. Your ECNET user ID and PW are NOT related to your e-mail or ISP user IDs and Passwords.

Display Settings and Development Standards ... Set your monitor's resolution, color palette and font sizes along with your browser to conform to our designer's development standards. It'll allow you to "see" what your site really looks like! A tutorial and practicum is provided.

^E-Mail Account Installation and Set-Up... and the ECNET Web Messaging Service. Here's where you learn how to install your new e-mail account. Includes a tutorial on e-mail software selection and recommendations on the type of "commercial grade" software to order.
Instructions are provided for retrieving e-mail using the ECNET Web Messaging System ... ideal for retrieving / sending / replying to e-mail while traveling or for deleting individual messages and updating your account information. The ECNET Web Messaging System works with any forms capable web browser ... e-mail software and setup is not required.
Downloads of traditional e-mail software are also available.
On-line Statistics Server. ECNET virtual domains and North Carolina's Outer Banks SuperSite sponsors receive access to the ECNET Statistics Server for full site analysis.

You can work on CFM or HTML documents, graphics and scripts locally and then upload files to your site when ready. This is the preferred transfer vehicle of the "pros". An FTP tutorial and client software is available.
The grassroots CALENDAR® presents events on a "rolling" two year basis. This unique calendar can be maintained by multiple organizations, departments within an organization or personnel within a single organization or department. The database is instantly updated as each group or individual adds or deletes events, thus it is as up-to-date as the last data entry.
